Akin Queen East is located at 429 Queen Street East, between Parliament St and River St. Akin Queen East is a bright and unique building, with large windows and exposed brick. Inhabiting all three floors of the building, Akin Queen East has dedicated studios as well as shared memberships in an open concept building with a long skylight which shines down through all three floors.
Akin Queen East has shared memberships available for $80/month which includes access to shared working areas, shared storage, kitchenette, a communal gathering area and bathrooms. There are 39 Dedicated Memberships (i.e your own studio), including private and semi-private options ranging from 25 sqft for $191/month to 133 sqft for $614/month.
All memberships include 24/7 access, wifi, utilities, insurance, shared storage facilities, restroom and kitchen access, communal workspaces and common area cleaning. Prices include HST. There is a wash up sink in each unit to wash brushes and other art-making tools.

Getting here by TTC
Akin Queen East is located 51 metres from the 501 Queen westbound streetcar stop at Queen and Sackville Street. Travelling westbound on the 501 Queen streetcar, the Queen St E and Sackville stop is 71 metres from the studio entrance. The studio is also in close proximity to the 505 King Streetcar at King and Sumach Street which is 350 metres away from the studio.
Bike and Car Parking
There is no designated parking for this studio. Public bike parking is available on Queen Street.

Akin Queen Street East has steps leading into the entrance, and steps throughout the interior of the building. The bathrooms are gender neutral, and are located in the basement. There is no elevator within the studio. More accessibility information will be available soon.
