Remote Gallery is Akin’s dedicated exhibition and programming space located at 568 Richmond Street West. Remote Gallery provides opportunities for artists and members of the public to rent financially accessible space for various types of programming.

Our multi-use space is available for single or multiple day rentals for exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, readings, presentations, pop-ups and other artistic programs.

To view pricing and all additional information please view our Remote Gallery Introductory Package. To inquire about Remote Gallery rental availability or to book a tour email gallery@akincollective.com. Please include a brief description of your exhibition or programming idea, the dates you are looking at, and any other pertinent information in your inquiry. We aim to make our space rentals as financially accessible as possible and look forward to hearing your ideas! Akin will be prioritizing Toronto’s newcomer artists, the Toronto Arts Council Equity Priority Groups and Akin’s current members for rentals of the space, but everyone is welcome to inquire!

On behalf of Neighbourhood Arts Network, I want to extend a sincere thank you for you for having us in the Remote Gallery space earlier this week for our Make Friends, Make Art: Artistic Playdate event for Newcomer Week! The space was a perfect venue for a series of workshops intended to provide a relaxed atmosphere for our facilitators to guide folks through different ways to engage with art and for our attendees to connect with each other comfortably. Thank you again and we look forward to future collaborations with Remote Gallery!
