Next door to Akin’s Remote Gallery, Akin Richmond, located at 568 Richmond Street West is a small, cozy studio. With just four dedicated studios, Akin Richmond is on the main floor, with a bathroom, a small kitchenette, and lots of light coming from the south facing window. It’s easily reached by the Queen Streetcar, just a block north of Richmond Street.

Akin Richmond has 4 regular dedicated studios ranging from 26 sqft for $191/month to 60 sqft for $341/month and and there are 4 shared membership for $78/month.

Akin Richmond high ceilings, with large windows facing the sidewalk and lots of natural light. There is a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven and minifridge.  As with all Akin studios, Akin Richmond has 24/7 access and wifi and a utility sink to wash brushes and other tools.

There are no steps to enter the building or anywhere else in the space. The entrance is automated. There is one gender-neutral bathroom. There are no grab bars in the bathroom and the toilets are not raised.

(Stop:187) On The 307 Bathurst Night Bus And 511 Bathurst Bus Routes.

Stop ID: 6826 and Stop ID: 6827 are considered wheelchair accessible by the TTC.

Bike and Car Parking

Akin Richmond doesn't have designated parking for studio members on-site but there is paid parking on the 15 Denison Ave. (map) and there are bike racks in front of the studio's door.
